This was our first time eating here. The food was amazing. I'm mad that I didn't get more pizza togo. The chicken parmesan pasta was plentiful and flavorful. We will definitely come back to visit. Also, Conner our server was great and knowledgeable about the menu items we had questions on.

What a great surprise!!!. My son and I were "pasta hunting", we went to 2 other highly rate italian restaurants but were close so we went to the nares one. Picasso was a delight. I ordered the chicken parmesana over fettuccine with marinara sauce with 2 extra meat balls and my son had the fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken with extra shrimp. Pastas was aldente, chicken was delicious and crispy, the marinara sauce was my favorite with those fresh basil leaves, meat balls were amazing the Alfredo sauce was creamy and yummy (he said) perfect match for his chicken and shrimp. Bread sticks were great and the customer service of Patricia was fenomenal. Not a fan of the Smoked snapper bruscheta, it was good but just like a toast with tuna. I will definitely come back to try the raviolo. The amount of food was amazing and the prices are excellent. You just got another faithful customer. 100% recommended

The 13-Inch "Jawbreaker" (Bring a Tape Measure and a Dentist) ​The "Hook" (For the Bloggers): If any food YouTubers or TikTokers want 1 million views on a video titled "I almost lost my teeth to a shrinkflation pizza," you need to order from here immediately. ​The Evidence (Referencing photos.jpg): We paid for two 14-inch pies—one olive and basil, and one just basil. What actually arrived was a masterclass in shortchanging the customer. I pulled out a tape measure because it looked small, and sure enough, as you can clearly see in my photo.jpg, the pie barely hits 13 inches. I didn't know pizza places were doing shrinkflation now, but losing an inch across two pies is wild when you’re paying full price. ​The Drama (The Juicy Part): It gets worse. I took a bite of the olive pie, and CRACK. I almost left my entire lower jaw on the kitchen floor. One of the "pitted" olives still had a massive, solid olive pit hiding inside it (check out the half-eaten slice photo.jpg for the culprit). This isn't just bad cooking; it’s a dental emergency waiting to happen. ​The Bizarre Detail: On top of the dental hazard and the missing inch of food, the basil on these pies was sliced so absurdly

Disappointing Experience – Not Coming Back I went to Picasso Restaurant with a friend, and it was a big letdown. My friend had been there a few years ago, and I had been there about four years ago—we expected much better. Right away, the place felt unorganized. No reception, just a line and no clear menu—you have to search for it near the cashier. There’s no real service either: you order, pay, and they bring your food to the table and just drop it off. After that, you’re on your own—go find your utensils. Drinks come in styrofoam cups. The table we picked was wobbly and uncomfortable. The food didn’t help either. My fettuccine was extremely salty. I asked for a remake, and it came out in about two minutes—which says a lot. The second one had no flavor, and the chicken was oily and poorly prepared. When I gave feedback, I was offered cake—which completely missed the point. Service felt rushed and careless the entire time. To make it worse, my friend left a generous tip expecting a good experience… which we definitely did not get. We won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend it. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Picasso’s on San Jose Blvd in Jacksonville was absolutely fantastic. We went with a group of eight and ordered a variety of pizzas to share, including the cheeseburger pizza, veggie pie, Hot Mama, mushroom pizza, and a classic pepperoni. Every single one was delicious and cooked perfectly. A few of us also ordered salads, and they were fresh and flavorful, definitely not an afterthought like at some pizza places. We also had the BBQ shrimp appetizer, which unfortunately we didn’t get a picture of, but it was easily in the top five shrimp dishes I’ve ever had. It was that good. We did have about an hour wait since we didn’t make reservations, but honestly it was completely worth it. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain menu options and make recommendations. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll make reservations. Highly recommend if you’re in Jacksonville and want excellent pizza and a great dining experience.
